Hi, I am very much pleased about my first day experience. I hope everything goes well.

hulya: I am an ESL/EFL Instructor and Head of the Department at the School of Foreign Languages, Hacettepe University, Ankara (Turkey). I am doing my PhD studies in the ELT department at the same university. I am working on my dissertation. My study is on “An Evaluation of ELT Ph.D. Programs in Turkey” My BA study is from Ankara University, English Language and Literature Department. My MA degree is from Dicle University, Educational Program Development. I have published several papers in the field of ELT. My academic interests are Cultural Studies, Distance Learning, Web tools in Language Classrooms, Using Literature in ELT Classrooms, Foreign Language Policies, Critical Reading/Thinking and Materials Development, Creative Writing, Short Stories as Tools for Language Teaching.
